INKDEN ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through Firebase Authentication (including Google and Apple Sign-In).
User-Generated Content: Photos you upload for the tattoo try-on feature and AI-generated tattoo designs are stored in your account.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data including app interactions, feature usage, and crash reports to improve our service.
Purchase Information: When you make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information. We receive transaction confirmations through RevenueCat to manage your token balance.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. AI Image Generation
When you create tattoo designs, your text descriptions are sent to Google's Gemini API for image generation. Photos uploaded for the try-on feature are processed to place designs on your skin. We do not use your images or descriptions to train AI models.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Your designs and photos are stored in your private account and are not accessible to other users.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, and file storage
- Google Gemini API — AI image generation
- RevenueCat — In-app purchase management
- Apple StoreKit — Payment processing
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing data handling.
6. Data Retention
Your account data and designs are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your designs at any time within the app. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us at support@inkden.app.
7. Children's Privacy
INKDEN is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete your designs and account
- Export your data
- Opt out of analytics
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the effective date.
